East Falls Church

East Falls Church (a.k.a. Falls Church) has had three different railroad stations over the years.
The first station was built by the Alexandria, Loudon & Hampshire Railroad in the late 1850s.
Around 1880, the Washington & Ohio branch of the Richmond & Danville Railroad built a new station at the same site.
In 1895 the Southern Railway built the third EFC railroad station to accommodate its Bluemont Branch,
which ran from Washington to Bluemont, Virginia.
